Nearest railhead is Hospet Junction (~13 km); trains run from Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru and Goa. The nearest airport is Hubli (~160 km) or Bengaluru (~340 km).
What is the best time for Hampi?
October to February offers pleasant weather for exploring the ruins. Summers are very hot, so the cooler months are ideal.
